After having blogged on this topic at almost the same time as you did, I can see that lots of us are deeply concerned about the flawed logic behind the auto industry handouts.

It’s clear that there is not enough rational, economically driven discussion of this topic. Like you, I’m not a fan of governments attempting to pick winners and immensely dislike having our tax dollars held hostage to a faulty political discussion.

Are any politicians out there reading blogs???
